Today I found out what it really is: a light amplifier.
As such, cooking is not the only application that it supports.
Boosting my small electric solar panel is even a better use for me.
I can use wood or propane or alcohol for cooking but I don’t have so many sources for electrical power. Well, except for my car. But I am also evaluating solutions which are light-weight and completely autonomous.
